Terms & Conditions for Use of this Site

Please read this agreement entirely and carefully before using this web site. By using the site, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions listed below and contained in the MPG Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not use this site.

Disclaimer About Medical Information:
The information and reference materials contained here are intended solely for the general information of the reader. They are not to be used for treatment purposes, but rather for discussion with the patient's own physician. All visitors to this site agree to read and abide by the complete terms of this agreement.

Legal Disclaimers Summary:

  • The contents of this site does not constitute an attempt to diagnose and are not intended for the purpose of diagnosing an individual with autism or any other disorders.
  • Use of this site does not establish a doctor-patient relationship.
  • Individuals should consult a qualified health care provider for medical advice and answers to personal health questions.
  • While this site attempts to be as accurate as possible, it should not be relied upon as being comprehensive or error-free.
  • This site reserves the right to change its disclaimer or privacy policy; therefore, users should review these periodically.

No medical advice:
The information posted here by Maximum Potential Group (“MPG”) is not to be considered medical advice and is not intended to replace consultation with a qualified medical professional. We do not answer specific medical questions, nor do we provide professional medical advice or consultation.

The information presented in this site is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure Autism or to take the place of professional medical care. It is, instead, intended to provide information, tools, and techniques which may be used as part of a comprehensive program of treatment of or assistance in dealing with autistic spectrum disorders (“ASD”). If your child has persistent health problems or if you have questions regarding the diagnosis and treatment of autistic spectrum disorders or any other persistent health problems, please consult you health care provider.

There are a few things that you should consider within the context of providing treatment for your child/student with an autistic spectrum disorder. First, intensive intervention therapy or treatment should not be limited to specific places, people, materials, or sets of procedures. While the materials produced and/or provided by MPG have been organized into chapters for your convenience, each module is not necessarily wholly distinct from the others; and trying to implement one module in isolation from others may not be effective. In fact, they should be consider as an integrated package.

Second, because the challenges presented by autistic spectrum disorders are complex and diverse, it is not possible to predict in advance the requirements for individual children with ASD. Training and materials (i.e., video modules, ABLLS®-R modules, data sheets, etc.) are an essential part of many effective treatments or therapeutic programs; however, teachers, therapists, and parents may need additional support for specific children (either through coaching or though a behavior analyst). If you are unsure about additional support services that you may need, feel free to contact MPG.  Board Certified Behavior Analysts can also be located at www.bacb.com. Information provided by MGP, however, should not be considered a substitute for information and/or advice from qualified healthcare providers.
